The colourful, varied pages of the cloth book I made are soft fabric with added words in embroidery thread or beads, sequins and suchlike. The words describe concepts, a chance to discuss what these words mean with a child, and the book offers a clear, fun way to see what is involved.
One day, I hope to exhibit this book and shall keep people posted about progress.
The other book with embroidered poems on doilies, supper cloths and so on shall be exhibited in a couple of years in a gallery which is soon to be refurbished extensively, in Auckland.

These found retro and vintage embroideries or printed textiles 'spoke' to me, the resulting poetry is embroidered on each one.
In time, I plan to exhibit these in a public space, Auckland, New Zealand. Meanwhile they may be seen by appointment, (let me know you want to see them first please), at The Happy Tea House events, here at my place in Auckland.
They will not be for sale until they are exhibited at a dealer gallery in the city.
